Outstanding customer reviews:

We loved our KBBQ tonight! My husband and two friends came for dinner and got the first AYCE option. The food was soooo good - especially the bulgogi and the spicy bulgogi! The banchan was also very good - we especially loved the potatoes and the fried scallion pancakes were SO good.

The Road To Seoul restaurant is definitely a ~vibe~. They played Kendrick Lamar almost all night and the lights turned off 3 or 4 times for a semi-EDM version of happy birthday to come on for different tables lol

We would come back! We were seated almost immediately which was also a major plus. Excited to come back in the future!

This is one of my most favorite KBB restaurants in LA!
Their meats are fresh, the service is quick and unless you go on weekends there is usually no wait time.
My favorite meats are their road to Seoul beef and their brisket.

I highly suggest this place!

This Korean bbq place is "such a slay" as the kids say.

Affordable prices for the all you can eat menu and a great selection of quality meats that don't leave you feeling gross afterwards.

Their 3 meats at a time policy can be kind of annoying since they do not come and check on you very often, but it definitely stopped our large group from over ordering or over eating.

So many different types of pork belly that all tasted different -- miso pork belly, garlic pork belly, they were all delicious.

Their banchan was not very impressive, not a whole lot of options compared to other KBBQ places around. But honestly I did not miss it very much with all the other meats around us.

Truthfully probably my favorite KBBQ place in LA, though admittedly I have not tried a whole ton besides some of the more popular options.

If you're coming here, go all out and get Option C. $57 is expensive for ayce bbq, but it's worth it just for the pork jowls (#37) and beef short ribs (#39). They're best short ribs I've had at any ayce place. So tender and so much flavor. The pancake was so good! We also enjoyed the LA galbi (#36). Get a tofu stew near the end to cleanse your palette.

I didn't love the seasoned meats since their marinade was too sweet for me. Also would not recommend the ribeye- had too much iron flavor, almost like liver.

Service is excellent here. Lots of grill changes and checking if you want to order more. Some servers cook and cut the meats for you if they're not busy. They even brought more rice paper without me even asking for it. Rice paper seems like a cheap filler item, but I feel like I have to beg servers at other places for it.

We came at an odd time so there was no wait. The line gets really long around dinner time though, so prepare to wait! Lastly, for anyone hesitant about coming here because of the Alhambra location, don't worry. This location feels like a completely different restaurant with much higher quality food. I'm already planning my next visit.

My friend and I ate here on a Saturday for lunch. We arrived promptly at 11:30AM (right when they opened) and were seated within 5 minutes. The ambiance looks dark, but had appropriate lighting to give way for the igniting flames from the barbecue grills. We had at least three rounds of meat within an hour and a half.

We frequently ordered their beef brisket which were thinly sliced and had an excellent texture upon grilling. Don't be too shocked that the meat ignites while grilling, just be sure to cook it thoroughly. The squid was very fresh and still tasted fresh, chewy and had a slightly sweet flavor. Their bulgogi was perfectly marinated in their bulgogi sauce and had a huge portion. We were initially worried about not finishing our meat orders (otherwise they charge extra for leftovers), so I assisted my friend upon finishing the bulgogi. I'm also fond of their banchan options for the day including bean sprouts, kelp, rice paper, their mashed potato was truly soft and sweet and their side salad.

Service could have been better if the servers asked us first if we wanted rice and tofu soup. The lady just placed them on our table without asking us. I personally don't eat white rice and spicy tofu soup due to dietary restrictions. Thankfully, my friend ate a portion of the "unwanted" items. Other than that misunderstanding, the servers are pretty punctual when we call their attention using the call button. I'll be back for their meat and be more assertive and inform them that I don't want rice. (Obviously, rice makes anyone full while eating kbbq.)
